We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, display name, and date of birth at signup. We collect content you create, including stories and characters. We collect basic usage data to operate and improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and operate Grimlit's features, to enforce age-appropriate content access, to process payments for paid subscriptions, and to communicate with you about your account.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase's infrastructure. Payment information is processed by Stripe and is never stored directly by Grimlit.
4. Third Party Services
Grimlit uses Anthropic's API to generate story content and OpenAI's API to generate voice narration. Story prompts and content may be processed by these services in order to provide Grimlit's features.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Public stories, characters, and profile information you choose to make public are visible to other users by design.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at grimlit@protonmail.com. You may delete your account and associated data at any time through account settings.
7. Children's Privacy
Grimlit is not intended for children under 13. Users must be 18 or older to access mature content features.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
