1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Grimlit, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Age Requirements
Users must be 13 years or older to create an account. Users must be 18 years or older to access mature content features. Users provide their date of birth at signup and Grimlit relies on this information for content access decisions.
3. Account Responsibilities
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and for all activity that occurs under it. Users must provide accurate information at signup.
4. Subscription and Billing
Grimlit offers both free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Users may cancel at any time through their account settings. Refunds are handled on a case by case basis.
5. User-Generated Content
Users retain ownership of stories and characters they create. By making content public on Grimlit, users grant Grimlit a license to display that content to other users on the platform. Users are responsible for the content they create and share.
6. Content Restrictions
Users may not use Grimlit to generate content that is sexually explicit, involves minors in any inappropriate context, promotes real-world violence or harm, or violates the rights of others. Grimlit reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these restrictions.
7. Character Adoption
Characters made available for adoption by other users remain the intellectual property of their original creator. Adoption permissions set by creators must be respected by all users regardless of subscription tier.
8. AI-Generated Content
Stories generated through Grimlit are created using artificial intelligence. Grimlit does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, or quality of AI-generated content.
9. Termination
Grimlit reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
Grimlit may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
